Quick hands worked over fine strings.
It was odd, really, how entrancing he was with just a box with a bunch of metal wires glued to large metal chunks. It was a soft hum, then a sigh, then another hum. Kyoko didn’t understand how he did it. Laying back onto the grass, just listening to him pluck random notes, was all she needed on a morose Sunday afternoon. It was tranquil, and every time someone, like Shiki or Echidna would walk by, she would just wave them off, and motioned to them not to disturb the blonde on the guitar. Kyoko smiled, looking up at him.
His eyes were closed, his face relaxed. He seemed so at peace, with his hands gracefully moving, eliciting soft twangs from the string instrument. He had dismissed his regular wardrobe for something a bit more casual, his glasses were still there, but due to his lack of attention, they slid off until Kyoko could see his eyelashes, resting on his cheekbones. A smile twitched at the corners of his mouth.
He was excellent. Kyoko could have sworn she had heard the melody before. It was particularly peaceful, so she assumed it was something like Amos Lee, or John Mayer. She knew he wasn’t into that type of music, but it didn’t matter. It was beautiful, and that was all she needed.
Another excuse to love Charden.

"Have you ever thought about dying?"
"Yeah."
"How do you want to go?"
"Naked."
"Why?"
"Because that's how I came in."

When I was a kid, my parents told me to never eat sweets.
So, as an adult, you overcompensate?
